This itinerary is dedicated to gourmet enthusiasts…and to the nostalgic ones. To all those who want to taste a good product and discover the life of long ago.

Arrival in the morning at Valtorta, a small village at the end of the Vally of Olmo. This village, well-known for the near-by ski resorts, is famous also for the traditional Carneval and for other popular customs handed down from the farming past to drive away the long frigid winter. The old rural arts and crafts are still visible in some interesting well-preserved examples diffused in the inhabited center: the mill, the mallet, the hydraulic sawmill and the antique clock make an open-air museum of the village. Not lastly, Valtorta is a synonym for excellent kinds of cheese, like the much sought-after Agrì, a fresh cylinder-shaped cheese, prepared with great skill by the local dairymen for a good three days. Visit to the dairy that produces Agrì cheese and other cheeses, such as Formai de Mut (cheese from the mount). Visit to the little yet well-maintained ethnographic museum, that houses overall old equipment from the world of the farmers and some precious clocks from the Opera di Miragolo. Lunch with a menu for sampling products from the area. Return to hotel.
